number 1 made by ~Wildmiguel
Metaru: Its ok, but too simple. still needs lot of work on shadowing and AA, but the outline and desing is fine.
number 2 made by ~ToshioMagic
Metaru: The desing of the owl is great, a very dynamic pose in such small canvas, a bit cliche mybe, but that is also its weakest point, the owl, due its size, gets lost in that black bg, in the end looks more like pidgeon.
number 3 made by *ZombieToaster
Metaru: This one is indeed, one of my favourites. The only and major prolem of this one was the use of that highly saturated green, without any kind of AA, or attemp of blend it with the rest of the image
number 4 made by *Liquid-Genius
Metaru: Nice, sweet AA, looks really smooth due this well executed AA, but unfortunately, Pixel Pax is an owl, not a chocobo.(lollige: Text is missing, please fix asap!)
number 5 made by ~lunar-eclipse
Metaru: I've commented this one on PJ. While the use of colors is good, the tail of the owl appears to be misplaced about 2 or 3 pixels to the left. It would be one of my candidates if this were solved in time.
number 6 made by =lollige
Shonegold: Nice bright choice of colors with a pleasing light source featured on the right side. Strong contrasting colors clearly demonstrate the use of dithering to create shading in the work.
number 7 made by ~Shadowwwolf
Shonegold: A limited pallet of 12 colors using very well laid pixels gives this a smooth contoured look.
number 8 made by ~Zaloran
Shonegold: This displays all the charm of pixelart with its crisp lines and use of detailed patterns to create a very pleasing piece.
number 9 made by =lollige
Shonegold: A fun piece of Isometric pixelArt with a demonstrated light source evident on the various sides of the piece. A hint of the dA emblem in the background showing some hand laid aa I suspect. (lollige: background is not made with handlaid aa, its just a copy of the No Avatar yet avatar..)
number 10 made by ~sergiocornaga
Shonegold: What a devilishly clever little one this is! Rotate 180 deg to see something quite different. This sort of art is always a treat...and and the dithering aspect is jolly good too!
number 11 made by ~atoji
Shonegold: The bold use of a bright color, outlining a dark subject really creates a standout quality about this piece. The background design using the same bright color creates an interesting contrast.
number 12 made by ~LeXuS-LiGhTs
Shonegold:There is some wonderfully and carefully laid pixels creating a dramatic piece which could well be a skull as much as an owl. Subtle aa smooths the more jagged edges.
number 13 made by ~Wildmiguel
Lollige: Hehe, nice expresion . I like the thick lines, witch are made by the thick aa, they some more body to the image
number 14 made by ^ShoneGold
Lollige: Its the only owl that turns its head! I cant remember how far they can turn it, but its atleast further than I can Thanks to the nice update, the owl becomes one with the background, witch can be hard to do if the background does not really have a relation
number 15 made by ~Neoriceisgood
Lollige: Is this professor owl, or is this the big boss? Colors are wonderfull, and those sparkles really add interest! The text on the black background, together with the shiny lines under it makes it beautiful, and readable too!
number 16 made by =evanescence
Lollige: This is probebly the most realistic owl of them! In such a small piece, you can even count every feather! Very nice selout is used, and the half background works well on it too.
number 17 made by ~thUg-inc
Lollige: Wonderfull colors! I have never seen an owl with a beard, but it does not look like a problem! Very creative is the way he sits on the text! That makes the text become a part of the image instead of an add!
number 18 made by ~skamocore
Lollige: The white line makes thisone come out of the image! But thats not the best thing, when you look longer at it, you see the eyes are formed by the DA logo! Very creative idea! Text font is pretty cool too!
number 19 made by ~atoji
Shonegold: This displays some nice dithering, something which adds charm and lifts a simple piece of work from a Digital Art drawing to something showing real character.
number 20 made by ~theartbook35
Shonegold: One in every crowd! Nicely graduated colors and who says you can't think outside the square.

First place, goes to ~thUg-inc [link] Awesome PixelArt in Top Quality! 4-bit, thats 16 colors, and all of the colors are used and chosen the way it fits the best! Dithering is used very good!
A beard, some different lightsources and very large neon letters, and it becomes a very nice, outstanding avatar!
Second place, goes to ~atoji [link] Top shading and Styling! With 14 colors, some yellow, some brown and some purple, thisone becomes one with the background. Its squary (pixely) body is staring at you, and lures you to come and join the club! This should really be moved from your scraps to the PixelArt section! This is also, top of the range PixelArt!
Third place, goes to ~skamocore [link] This might not be the best PixelArt, but its the most creative of them all and thats worth something too! 13 colors, but with some nice pattern dithering it feels like it becomes alot more! The DA avatar around the eyes, really shows that this is not some PixelArt club, located on DeviantArt, but that we want to become The DeviantArt PixelArt club! Some nice AA around the outline, and this becomes a very creative avatar!
