I joined DA less than a week ago, and I allready have 38 members! Thats awesome!

But being in a club is not enaugh.. what would be the fun of it? The fun is that learn know each other.

The best way you can do that is come to the pixel chat! Allmost every hour of the day somebody is in there. Most actives at the moment are only ~Wildmiguel,*crystaleyes909 and =lollige! I would really like to see you all there, and have a chat! Its a good way to meet people, talk about pixels and other things.

Another way to show who you are is join the Pixel-Pax avatar challenge!
you should make an avatar, witch contains a portrait of me, pax, the Pixel Owl. How do you think I look like?

Rules
It has to contain the text Pixel-Pax
It has to meet the DA avatar standards (An avatar image file should be a 50x50 px PNG, or GIF image that is smaller than 15 KB.)
No animations
Offcourse it has to be Pixel Art
You should try to put your own style in it, so you can show what you can do with pixels.. Exept for if your style is doing large things, you cant join this (but you could try to do something small, or you could make me a ID because you are bored).
You can submit as much avatars as you want!

Submissions should be uploaded to your DA gallery, and you should post a link to it in a comment of this journal.

The challenge ends on Monday 22 october, witch means you can submit untill sunday, in whatever timezone you live.. if you submit it on monday, it could be that you are too late, it could be that you are on time, depends on timezone.

The winner will be announced ASAP, the prize is that the avatar the winnner made will become my avatar for at least 3 months.

Judging
This is a judged competition, so its not being voted by the members. Who will be the judges?

Whats a helper?
Someone who helps the administrators by judging artwork, inviting pixel artists to pixel-pax, who thinks of new challenges, who searches for tutorials.

How to become one?
As a helper, you should be able to help the administrators, by doing work where its not needed to get on the pixel-pax account. Also you need to prove that you know what proper pixel art is. The best way to prove that, is to have great pixels in your gallery.
If you want to become a helper and you think you meet the standards, just send me a note, and a administrator will check if you can join the helpers.
Watch out, a helper can not win a judged competition. You are allowed to join one, but you just cant win.

Why cant I become an administrator?
Because I dont trust you enaugh to give you my password . if you apply to become a helper and I do think I can trust you, I will note you about it. Dont ask for it.
